IFS Eligibility Criteria 2018 (Notification)
I am eligible or not? The answer can be clarified as the contender having all the qualities as given below will be eligible and the rest are not eligible. Below we have provided IFS Eligibility Criteria 2018 as per the UPSC IFS Notification 2018.
- Educational Qualification: Aspirants must be a bachelor’s degree completed with one of these subjects (or more) Statistics, Forestry, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture from a recognised university/ institute, as per the IFS Notification 2018.
- Age Limit: A candidate between 21 to 32 years of age can apply for the examination. There is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidate as on 1-8-2015 and of 5 years for aspirants belonging to SC/ ST category.
- Mains Examination for the year 2017 will be held from 3rd December for which the Admit Card will be revealed 15 days earlier.

UPSC IFS Application Form 2018

The IFS Application Form 2018 will commence on the same day when the IFS notification 2018 will be out. Applicants can send the online registration forms to the officials from 7th February. The UPSC follows a particular manner of getting the contestants registered.
Important: The department only permits the online filling of application forms. No physically sent registration form will be entertained.
UPSC IFS Admit Card – Notification
Those candidates who have successfully registered themselves can download the admit card from the official website www.upsc.gov.in. IFS Admit card is compulsory for all. Thus, all the competitors must have to grab it before the last date. The admit card will be made available in the PDF format. Aspirants have to bear the admit card on the exam day along with some other photo ID proofs as given in the UPSC IFS Notification 2018.
