UPSC IAS 2018
Starting from the end, one of the most crucial questions are – How many total numbers of attempts are there category wise? Answer – for General Category with upper age limit 32 total 6 attempts are available. For OBC (Other Backward Class), with 35 years as upper age limit, a total number of attempts are 9. While, there are unlimited attempts for SC/ ST (Age Limit – 37), Citizens of Jammu and Kashmir (Age Limit – 37), Ex-Servicemen (Age Limit – 37), Defense personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with foreign countries or disturbed area (Age Limit – 35) and total nine attempts are there for Physically handicapped / disabled with maximum age limit as 42.
UPSC IAS Notification 2018
No separate notification in PDF format is released for UPSC IAS 2018. According to Union Public Service Commission, IAS is considered as a part of UPSC Civil Services 2018. Since Civil Services Exam is conducted mainly in two formats i.e. prelims and mains. Thus, following this, according to UPSC Selection Procedure, to become IAS as well there will be two stages – Preliminary and Mains except for Interview/ personality test which is conducted at the 3rd stage of the selection process of Indian Administrative Services.
Reportedly, on 7th February next year, IAS Notification 2018 will be released and registration will also be started on the same day. Besides, 06.03.2018 has been fixed as the Last Date for receipt of Applications. And, with single day duration, date of commencement of Exam for IAS Preliminary 2018 is 3rd June. Important dates for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018 are also released. With no separate date of notification and 5 Days duration, the written test will be held on 01.10.2018 (MONDAY).
IAS Application Form 2018
Apart from UPSC IAS 2018, civil services consists of a number of posts for gazetted officers like – Pondicherry Civil Services, Group B, Pondicherry Police Services, Group B, Armed Forces Headquarter civil service, Group B (Section Officer’s Grade), Indian Corporate Law Service, Group A, Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Civil Service, Group B, Indian Railway Personnel Service, Group A, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Group A, Indian Defence Estates Service, Group A, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Group A and numerous other posts.
While, a crucial chunk to notice here is that – online registration for all them will be done in the same duration. Reason being, basically, no separate IAS Application Form 2018 is released. Rather, application forms are released for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. And, next year on 7th February 2018 to 6th March 2018, an online registration form will be filled.
IAS Admit Card 2018
Before going for the written examination, preliminary of which is scheduled on 03.06.2018 (SUNDAY) with single day duration and Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018 is scheduled on 01.10.2018 (MONDAY) with five days duration, it is mandatory for candidates to download IAS Admit Card 2018. For other posts as well, Admit Cards will be released on same day. Since the date of commencement of Exam of UPSC IAS 2018 is 3rd June. Thus, almost in the second week of May 2018, Indian Administrative Service Admit Card will be available to download. e-Admit Cards will be available on www.upsconline.nic.in and registration ID, date of birth will be required to download them.
According to terms, conditions and policies of Union Public Service Commission, irrespective of which examination is there or which post written test is there, the person who doesn’t possess CEE [Common Entrance Examination] Admit Card will be barred from getting into examination centre.
IAS Answer Key 2018
Next year, when the written examination will be held successfully, Indian Administrative Services test solutions will become the first priority or a major focus of applied candidates to go through. As usual, no objection can be raised against UPSC for answer keys published online on various support forums and by different coaching institutes. Rather, objection raising option will only be availed in IAS Answer Key 2018 which is published officially for prelims examination by Union Public Service Commission itself.

IAS Result 2018
IAS Result can be referred to as three different meanings – Result in either for (i.) Preliminary Exam or (ii.) Mains Exam and (iii.) or final result after the interview. Anyways, last year, for 18th June 2018 conducted the examination, prelims test result was successfully announced on July 28, 2017, with no paper leak news observed in the duration.
